Description

We're seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience plumbing, HVAC experience is an asset. You'll need to be capable of carrying out independent work and on the spot decision making. You must be willing to learn, grow and adapt. We will be doing a variety of repairs, installations and maintenance of plumbing. We will will be installing furnaces and air conditioners. The Plumber will ensure that all work is completed to code and meets safety standards.
Responsibilities:
-Assemble and install plumbing systems according to code
-Build and maintain plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
-Read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
-Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
-Troubleshoot and repair leaks.
-Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
-Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Plumber and/or an HVAC Technician.
-You must take initiative, be motivated and driven.
-Must have a driver's license and your own vehicle.
-Knowledge and understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
-Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively is an asset.
-You must supply your own hand tools, and be proficient with power tools.
-You will be required to wear steel toed shoes or boots.
-Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-You must be mechanically inclined.
-Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
-Must be capable of independent work.
-Effective time management skills
-Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting heavy materials, sometimes repeatedly.
-Must be well organized
