Maintenance Manager - Full Time
Wednesday - Sunday 7:30am-4:00pm Most days. Flexibility is required.

The Maintenance Manager role provides superior maintenance and repair care leading for an exceptional guest experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in Regina. A variety of duties related to the smooth upkeep and maintenance of the hotels operations on both the interior and exterior.  Qualifications for this career include skills such as mechanical aptitude, organization, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
You will report to the General Manager and will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager.
Duties as follows (but not limited to):
Pool & Hot Tub Maintenance & Cleaning
Performing general grounds keeping such as shoveling snow, lawn care, garbage disposal
Participating in routine fire & safety regulation checks
Repairing items such as toilets, garburators, and vacuum cleaners, Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs, Painting, Shampooing Carpets, Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats
Repairing and installing electronic door locks
Knowledge of different kinds of commercial heating and cooling systems would also be an asset
Preventative Maintenance Program for all guestrooms and public spaces
Assisting Housekeeping Department with duties and support
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
Professional attitude
Basic English: written, verbal and reading comprehension
Detail-oriented
Previous pool maintenance experience will be an asset, as well as the Saskatchewan Swimming Pool Operators Course an asset
The successful candidate should possess a strong attention to detail and have a proven, solid work ethic.
Applicants must be a Canadian Resident legally entitled to work in Canada with a valid drivers license.
