Are you passionate about doing meaningful work?  Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking to hire a Senior Operations & Maintenance Assistant to join the Operations & Maintenance team.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Operations & Maintenance, an employee in this job will aid in a variety of operational, physical maintenance and technical maintenance activities.  In addition, this employee will assist and perform general labor duties. This position is required to perform standby duties and respond to dam operations or events outside of normal business hours.

The duties and responsibilities will primarily focus on ensuring operational readiness, basin monitoring, physical maintenance inspections, assisting in rehabilitation activities and providing support in conducting surveying, instrumentation reading and other technical monitoring activities.

You will work among a diverse and passionate team of professionals from various disciplines and contribute to projects that will have an impact province-wide.
  
The successful candidate will have Grade 12 or GED and any additional formal full time equivalent education up to but not including 1 year. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required for this role.

This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
