As a crop hail adjuster, you will be required to travel the province and assess crops for hail damage. This is an on-demand role driven by the volume and timing of hail storms. Generally speaking, most of our claims are adjusted in the months of July and August.
We have an excellent training program and a strong support team in the field. Each storm will be led by a Storm Supervisor who will manage the storm and will assign claims to you for adjustment.
We have digitized our field adjustments and each adjuster is assigned a tablet that will track and calculate the loss payments and generate a proof of loss for your claimant. MHI leads the industry and we have developed this software in-house specifically for our needs.
The successful candidates must be physically fit, own and operate a vehicle suitable for field use and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-demand environment. You will also have to work away from home for up to 12 days.
