The Beaver River Regional Housing Authority (BRRHA) has an opportunity for a permanent, full time Housing Coordinator to join their team in Pinehouse. If you have excellent problem solving and organizational skills, can multitask, thrive in a team environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to tenants in the community, this position will be of interest to you!
The Position:
In this front-line position, you will:
-Process housing applications, conduct income reviews, calculate rental fees, and collect rent
-Prepare and explain leasing agreements and expectations of tenancy
-Coordinate move-in and move-out process in conjunction with the Tenant Relations Officer
-Manage tenant and public inquiries, problems, complaints, and concerns
-Maintain applicant list, tenant filing system, and unit maintenance files
Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Ability to manage stressful situations, problem solve, and manage conflict
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Superior administrative and accounting skills
-Exceptional client relations skills and the ability to maintain positive work relationships
Qualifications:
-Grade 12 or equivalent, with experience in a property management environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
-Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
-Proven expertise using Microsoft Office, experience with JDEdwards preferred
-A valid drivers license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
