The RM of Redburn No. 130 is accepting applications for an experienced working Foreman who will manage our Transportation Department.
Qualifications:
- must possess Power Mobile Equipment Training Certification
- must have thorough knowledge of grader operation and technique and have the ability to perform maintenance
- must possess a valid Driver's License, preference may be given to applicants with a class 1A Driver's License
- must have strong organizational, communication and record keeping skills
- must have the ability to supervise and instruct co-workers in accordance with scheduling of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks as well as manage any contractors hired by the municipality
- must be willing to acquire any and all additional training as required or suggested by governing bodies, council and/or administration
- must have the ability to be discreet and professional
The successful applicant will report directly to Council and Administration and prepare reports for Council as requested. The foreman ensures that all Transportation Department operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
