The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Use appropriate teaching aides and techniques, in order to meet basic Saskatchewan curriculum standards
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual needs of students
Attend staff/community/School Committee/parent-teacher meetings and in-service workshops to develop a greater understanding of community aspirations and improvement of personal teaching competencies
Participate in operation of the school extracurricular program
Other work-related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
Experience in teaching high school math and sciences
Accreditation is an asset
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to teach students of varying abilities
Cross Cultural experience is an asset
Must have Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector check
Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable)
