Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Truck and Transport Technician for our Estevan Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, and buses in a shop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble and repair the on road equipment efficiently and effectively
* Use secondary materials and equipment safely
* Use related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
* Accurately document on work orders all unit information, actions taken, and time spent
* Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards          
* Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
* Work with equipment engineers to diagnose and fulfill warranty requirements
* Road test equipment and verify repairs as required
* Other duties as required
