The Role
Reporting to the site services supervisor, you will be responsible for operating a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site, roads, and airport in a safe and effective manner. You will assist in training and monitoring junior operators and provide support to other trades on site. Please note this is a 6-month temporary position.

In this role, you will:
-Operate a variety of equipment such as a vacuum truck, water truck, D8 dozer, 290 backhoe, 872 graders, mack vac truck, and 744 loader
-Provide maintenance services to site roads (snow clearing/sanding) and to the airport runway/apron
-Prepare equipment for maintenance and collaborate with others to improve work practices

Required:  
-Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
-At least six years of relevant work experience on loaders (various sizes), sand truck, bus, road roller, skid steer, and vacuum truck
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
-C lass 5 drivers license
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
-Mechanically inclined (knowledge of equipment and hand tools)
-Willingness to perform manual labour as required

Recommended:
-C lass 1A drivers license
-Tandem vacuum and water truck experience
-Completed mining division (MD) modules for mobile equipment

-C lass 5 drivers license
