PLUMBER JOURNEYPERSON  Central Services Office (Serving schools division-wide)

Living Sky School Division is looking for a resourceful individual who holds a journeypersons certificate in plumbing, enjoys helping others and thrives working on a collaborative team!

Plumber Journeyperson  permanent, full time, 40 hours per week (10 hours per day/4 days per week), commencing as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of building infrastructures, codes and hold a valid class 5 drivers license. Preference will be given to individuals who have proven skills and abilities with a safety focus and a minimum of five-years experience. Must be a journeyperson plumber and hold or be willing to obtain a general gas ticket and WHIMIS certification.

This position is mainly responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and HVAC systems in schools across the division. Candidates should be able to self-manage while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude in a collaborative team environment as well as have the physical capabilities to perform the work. Travel is required to all schools within the division.
