Description

Student Position for Summer 2025

**To be considered for this position, you must be currently be a student attending a post-secondary education, who is returning to school in Fall 2025.**

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Manager of Central Support, this position will be responsible for processing insurance customer paper records by preparing them for destruction or adding them to the SCIC imaging system. In addition, this position is responsible for receiving, sorting, distributing, and shipping all incoming and outgoing mail and supplies.

Sort the contents of the boxes into two categories  those that need to be scanned and added to the imaging system, and those that have reached their destruction date
Check each file on-line to determine if the customer closed their account more than 15 years ago and place them back in the box for destruction.
Files that have not reached their destruction date are separated from the box, prepped, scanned and placed on the imaging system.
Files that are eligible for destruction will be documented and approval to destroy obtained from the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan. Once approval has been received, the documents are disposed into locked blue bins.
Files that have been scanned/imaged can be placed in locked blue bins.
Receive, sort, distribute and ship all incoming and out-going mail and supplies through the internal mail system, Canada Post or couriers.
Receive, process, and fill supply requisitions and printing orders.
Assist with operation and maintenance of mail room equipment such as folder/inserter machine, photocopiers, postage machines, courier and Canada Post shipping systems etc.
Assist in processing large volume mail-outs.
Pick up confidential shred bins from each division and prepare for pick-up by the designated shredding company.
