Duties and responsibilities:
As the Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals living with dementia through meaningful activities and strong partnerships. Your duties will include:

-  Recruiting and referrals: Connect with individuals and care partners in Swift Current and surrounding areas to participate in the Dementia Friendly Life Enrichment Program.
-  Facilitating life enrichment activities: Coordinate and lead individual and group activities in personal homes and in the community.
-  Building relationships: Develop trusting relationships with care partners to better understand and support the needs of individuals living with dementia through person-centered planning.
-  Collaborating with partners: Work closely with participating organizations and partners involved in the Dementia Friendly Project.

Qualifications:
Education & Certification
-  University Degree at the bachelor level: Psychology and/or Social Work
-  Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation.
-  Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within three months).
-  TLR and PART certifications are an asset.
Experience & Skills
-  Experience working with individuals living with dementia and/or disabilities.
-  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-  Strong problem-solving skills, empathy, patience, and resilience.
-  Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products and apps, including Outlook, Teams and database management for file recordings and statistical reporting.
-  Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and networking skills.
Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record check.
