We seek a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator LEVEL II to join our daycare team. As an ECE, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn, grow, and develop their full potential. You will collaborate with a team to provide high-quality care and education to children in our daycare.
Responsibilities:
-Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
-Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
-Establish positive and trusting relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of belonging and security.
-Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and behavior for ongoing evaluation.
-Collaborate with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development, achievement, and any concerns.
-Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity among children, encouraging their understanding and appreciation of diversity.
-Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Valid ECE Certification. Level: I/Teaching experience
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Familiarity with play-based learning approaches and the ability to incorporate them into daily activities.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs and interests of each child in your care.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure a secure environment for children.
- English Language
