Description

Reporting to the Location Manager, the Location Agronomist is directly involved in growing SynergyAGs customer base, by providing customized agronomic advice, service and expertise to meet the unique needs of customers.  The Location Agronomist uses advanced diagnostic tools, data analytics and new technology to interpret results and offer effective and efficient solutions to customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Provide sound agronomic support as part of the location strategy to bring solutions to customer farm operations.
    Build, develop and maintain customer relationships.
    Partner with sales team to create and recommend solutions for customers.
    Collaborate with location team to develop and deploy location sales strategies and marketing activities to improve market share in product lines.
    Identify potential customer partnerships to conduct customer trials to support data generation and investigation of product solutions.
    Actively contribute to location social media activity and annual summits.
    Partner with customers and location sales personnel to create quality crop plans.
    Utilize customer farm plans and insight, maintain open lines of communication with location sales personnel and management on product needs to support forecasting

Requirements:
    Three of more years of agronomy experience an asset with a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, or related field.
    Credentials suitable to obtain professional status with provincial Institutes of Agrology (P. Ag) and/or obtain their Certified Crop Advisor (CCA).
    Excellent interpersonal, team building, and relationship building skills.
    Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
    Dependable, reliable, and safety conscious.
    Effective time management, planning and multitasking skills.
    Proficiency with computers and technology.
