As Office Manager, you will promote operations efficiency, and provide administrative, accounting and communications support for a reputable not-for-profit Association. Provide executive/administrative support and serve as first point of contact for the office. Oversee and promote efficient office operations. Support the registration, licensing and management processes as directed by the Executive Director.
Provide general accounting support, in collaboration with the Bookkeeper, in the areas of A/R, A/P transactions and processing of information.
Coordinate the design and communications needs, including preparing powerpoint presentations, website updates, newsletters, annual report publications and strategic plan documents. Maintain the filing system for easy saving, storage, and retrieval of internal digital files.
As the selected applicant, you will bring:
- Administration Certification/Diploma is an asset, and formal training in digital communications, graphic design or a related discipline. Experience in bookkeeping, payroll or finance.
- 4-5 years+ experience in managing office operations, accounting and administrative tasks. 1-3 years' experience in web content management and online communications/marketing is preferred.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and accounting software programs. Knowledge of WordPress website management system is an asset.
- Motivated, positive attitude and adaptable. Interested in learning, an independent worker, learner and problem solver. Works well within a small team environment.
Monday-Friday 9/10:00am to 4/5:00pm. Start date is open, estimate January 2025.
