GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
As a member of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency Senior Leadership team, the Director, Quality, Safety and Strategy is accountable for providing collaborative leadership and expertise in programs and initiatives that support and advance the Agencys mission, values.
The Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Agencys quality, safety, and strategy programs, ensuring alignment to best practices and standards, which includes Accreditation Canada, enterprise risk management, patient and staff safety, quality of care initiatives, and the execution of strategic planning processes and projects. This role partners and collaborates with executive leadership, directors, managers, and external partners to champion the advancement of quality improvement culture across all levels of the Agency.
The Director is accountable for the strategic leadership and advisory support to the CEO, Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams in the planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating of a wide variety of quality improvement, risk management, safety, and planning programs and services, as well as in advancing the related cultural shifts for achieving greater organizational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in clinical or allied health field, business administration, public administration or healthcare administration. Masters degree preferred.
