Job Description:
A clinical position working as part of assessment and treatment teams in a dynamic and growing hospital setting. This position involves the opportunity to work with individuals with chronic major mental illness and intellectual disabilities, often treatment resistant, in both the Forensic Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation departments within Saskatchewan Hospital, North Battleford. Assess the needs of the patients in the Short Term Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Extended Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Secure and Forensic Service Areas. Plan/Evaluate therapeutic individual and group programs that are consistent with patient needs and Unit objectives. Provide patient assessment and treatment plans (including behavior management programs); psychotherapy; contribute to formal and informal discussion of all cases.
