Description

The Touchwood Child & Family Service Inc. requires a Education Trainer/Facilitator under the direction of the Post Majority Care Coordinator.  The education Trainer/Facilitator duties include but are not limited to:
1. To develop educational training that supports youth/young adults to transition into adulthood/or positive path in the areas of life skills.
2. Professional development and skills training, and/or career path planning
3. Engaging with key stakeholders (member Nations), employment agencies, private sector willing to partner to provide training and employment.
4. Develop and implement a financial literacy program and access to financial advisors (according to need)
5. Engaging with TCFS youth to get feedback about their needs to transition to adulthood and a positive path forward. (Roundtable discussions)
6. Education Mentorship and support
7. Training in technology is required to enter the workforce or education.
8. Assessing the need for tutoring to prepare for education/employment training.
9. Self-care and well-being training and support.
10. Monthly written report for program statistics
11. Maintain files on Redmane Data system.
12. Must pass all CPIC checks to work with youth.
13. Strong Teamwork abilities.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Recognized Certification for Educational Trainer/facilitator with minimum 5 years training and development experience
