SECRETARY/TREASURER  Casual / Part Time ELRP has an employment opportunity for a Secretary/Treasurer. Within the park you will find a well maintained, challenging nine hole, artificial greens golf course, daily and seasonal camping with full service and partial service campsites, leased cabin lots, shower and bathroom facilities, swimming, boating and fishing, sport court, Main Store and Beach Concession. ELRP is operated through a Board of Directors comprised of members appointed by the RM of Leask and Town of Leask. ELRP is open from May 1  September 30. Fiscal year ends December 31.

Duties: preparing and accounting for payables and receivables, preparing financials for the Board and audit, bank reconciliations, PST/GST remittances, Receiver General remittances, recording meeting minutes, handling correspondence as directed by the Board, attendance at a minimum of 12 meetings per year (evenings), banking, payroll, seasonal invoicing, mail, grant writing and reporting, updating website, other duties as directed by the Board to aid in providing a facility that meets the legislative, health, safety and recreational requirements of the park. Position requires approximately 40  60 hours/month, 80% of duties are remote.

Qualifications: Proficient in Sage accounting, Square POS, Office suite, flexible time management that includes occasional week-ends and evenings, diplomacy, tactful and pleasant interaction park employees and general public. Respect for confidentiality and be a positive public representation of the Board of Directors.

The Board would consider splitting the duties to accommodate separate Secretary and Treasurer positions if a candidate cannot fulfill all duties.

Wage: To be determined by the Board and based on ability to meet the requirements of this position.

Start Date: As soon as possible. Ability to participate in an orientation with departing Secretary - Treasurer is greatly appreciated.
