Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the design, implementation and review of person-centered plans; liaise with all other members of each
individuals support team.
2. Work in conjunction with and act as a resource for Direct Support Workers.
3. Work cooperatively with other Program Coordinators to achieve company and participant goals.
4. Coordinate the planning and development of day to day activities and schedules for assigned area.
5. Provide leadership and develop effective working relationships with all program participants and staff to ensure
a respectful and positive work environment; liaise with and develop positive working relationships with
community partners.
6. Recruit, orientate, coach and evaluate performance of the staff team.
7. Monitor the maintenance/cleaning routines of assigned vehicles, equipment and area.
8. Coordinate and account for funds allocated to the assigned program area and program participants.
9. Maintain accurate records for program participants and staff as required by Cosmopolitan Industries Ltd.; to
complete other reports as required by the company.
10. Cross-train for other duties/positions as deemed necessary.
11. Other duties as assigned.
Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
Education
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in one of the following disciplines: Disability Support Worker, Social Work, Psychology
and/or a related field.
Qualifications
Mandt Training or Crisis Intervention Training considered an asset. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. IABA and/or
CLSD Level III Certification. Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License.
Experience
Two years of related experience providing supports to persons with intellectual disabilities. Experience in the
development of Person-Centered Plans and/or facilitating positive programming is preferred. Prior experience
supervising/mentoring a team is considered an asset.
