Description

Duties include: The successful applicant will be responsible for performing skilled repair and maintenance of a full fleet of road construction equipment including graders, heavy trucks, heavy-duty equipment, tractor units, and SGI truck safety inspections.

Desired Qualifications and Knowledge Base:
    Journeyperson Certificate recognized in the province of Saskatchewan.
    Valid Class 5 license with a clear Drivers' Abstract is mandatory.
    Valid Class 1A driver's license is preferred.
    Grade 12 Education preferred.
    Service and maintain hydraulics, electrical, air systems, and other repairs as required.
    Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, lubricate, repair, assemble and maintain units in a timely and safe manner.
    Safety oriented: Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    Welding experience required.
    Capable of operating required equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
    Must be able to read and understand equipment and vehicle repair manuals.
    Ability to respectfully deal with members of the public and co-workers to develop and maintain positive work relationships.
    Ability to accurately comprehend information from written or verbal instruction.
    Adaptable to changing work situations and demonstrates an ability to be self-motivated.
    Attention to detail to record accurate service reports.
    Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and computerized software.
    Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
