Description

- Ensure the provision of a quality child care service which fulfills the philosophy of the centre.
- Provide Support to staff on excursions and field trips.
- Collaborate with staff, children, and parents to plan and implement play-based experiences.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive care environment for all individuals.
- Recognize and respond to the needs of each child by using developmentally appropriate practice and behavior management techniques.
- Arrange a safe, clean and engaging learning environment based on current needs, schemas, and interests.
- Facilitate a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that is both planned and spontaneous.
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, pretend play, and music.
Use a variety of strategies to guide childrens development.
- Maintain positive interactions with children and their families.
- Provide supervision to children ages 18 months to 6 years.
Assist in housekeeping duties.
