Canadian Mental Health Association, Battlefords Branch is seeking a motivated and committed individual(s) to fill a permanent, casual or part full time Job Coach position.
The Job Coach is responsible for supervising, supporting clients and participating themselves in vocational work day to day (janitorial, housekeeping, vehicle maintenance, recycling, newspapers, fliers, yard work, snow removal, campground upkeep and maintenance). The position includes transporting clients, performing administrative and other duties as assigned.
Experience working with persons living with mental illness is valuable but not required. Knowledge of health and safety practices, along with use of equipment (lawn, snow, etc.) is an asset for this position.
A strong work ethic, ability to work effectively in a team and independently, strong communication and organizational skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills and a passion for helping others are ideal attributes.
Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract and criminal records with a vulnerable sector check provided upon offer of employment. Permanent resident of Canada, residing in the Battlefords or proximity to the Battlefords.
