Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Infrastructure Operator, to join the Operations & Maintenance team.

As a member of the team in this role you will implement the operations and physical maintenance program at the South West Structures (SWS) comprising of operation and maintenance of project works, the monitoring and assessment of the watershed and reservoir conditions; conducting operations within predetermined plans; and the inspection and evaluation/testing of various electrical, mechanical, and industrial components.  In addition, you will assist in coordinating the operations and physical maintenance and occupational health and safety programs for the SWS.

The successful candidate should possess a Pre-Trade Certificate (Industrial Mechanic), a valid drivers license and at least 4 years of previous experience.

This position is required to be On Call on a rotational schedule to respond outside of normal business hours.
