We are currently seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team based out of our Humboldt office.Responsible for scheduling / coordinating our team of school bus drivers, this position is tailor-made for an industry professional with a focus on customer service and passenger satisfaction. The shift for this position is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential changes based on business needs.

Qualifications:

Experience in the school bus industry an asset
Good knowledge of Humboldt and surrounding area
Excellent customer service skills, proven ability to serve the public and relate to coworkers in a courteous, helpful manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
Expertise in organizational planning and problem solving

Principals and Duties

Ensure that drivers and staff are treated in a fair and consistent manner
Ensure school routes are covered in an efficient and fair manner
Checking driver in and out for their routes
Assisting drivers in troubleshooting all potential problems on route
Making phone calls in clear communications with customers and staff
Assisting in preparing charter billing and data entry
Keeping organized filing
Assisting in keeping the office neat and tidy with some cleaning duties
Assist in answering public and driver inquiries and finding solutions to concerns
Ensure all required paperwork/requests is completed in an accurate and timely manner
Keep appropriate staff informed of any major issues, changes, concerns etc. in an expedient fashion
General office duties as required

Wage: $18 - $21 per hour
