Job Overview
We are seeking Continuing Care Assistants to join our Team.

you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care in a nurturing environment, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients, particularly seniors and those with specific health challenges.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Support clients with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to nursing staff or family members.
Foster a positive relationship with clients, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times.
Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
Experience in senior care or nursing home settings is preferred.
Ability to perform medication administration accurately and safely.
Knowledge of caregiving techniques for individuals with dementia or similar conditions.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required for client support.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
