The Public Guardian and Trustee of Saskatchewan is seeking a confident, ethical, and well-organized individual for an interesting and challenging Assistant Trust Officer position in the Children and Youth Services unit that also provides support to the Counsel for Children program. The Children and Youth Services unit is responsible for protecting the financial and property rights of minors and administering funds held in trust for minors. The Counsel for Children program provides for the appointment of a lawyer for children who are involved in child protection proceedings.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining client files, preparing a diverse variety of correspondence and legal documents, as well as responding to inquiries from children, parents, executors, solicitors, and other government agencies.
