Description

DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY, BY:
Plunging into payroll with style by preparing and processing pay on a bi-weekly and yearend
basis, including preparation of T4s, pension, benefits and leave administration
Administer the payroll function for employees and directors, ensuring all deadlines and
reporting requirements are met, and accurate records are kept.
Onboarding and maintaining employee files including payroll records, benefit forms and
attendance
Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and employer provided benefits
Plan and conduct employee presentations and information sessions pertaining to benefits
and other relevant matters
Prepare Pension Plan Financial Statements
Research new legislation, benefit products and software applications as necessary
Support HR with tasks and project work as required
Perform other duties as required.
WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX:
High School Grad: A High School diploma combined with a company approved certificate
or diploma in payroll and/or benefits
Experience Counts: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience and string skills in MS Office
application
Payroll Wizard: Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, pensions, benefits,
employment standards, taxation regulations, computer based attendance and payroll
systems including online time entry systems
Master Communicator: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and manage multiple
tasks and deadlines despite interruption
Detail Detective: Fantastic detail-orientation skills with strong interpersonal and problem
solving skills
People Person: Friendliness and interpersonal communication skills  the ability to
maintain effective working relationships with team members and encouragement of
company culture
