Are you ready to embark on a maintenance adventure like no other? Were scouting for a part-time Building Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Crew. We're a hotel with 200 guestrooms, a thrilling waterpark, a cozy pub, a family-friendly restaurant, and over 15,000 square feet of meeting space and to help keep our building functioning at peak performance, we need a pro!

Your Primary Responsibilities Include:

Complete routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
Regularly conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on the building's HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Promptly respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests to minimize disruptions to hotel operations and maintain guest comfort.
Collaborate with other departments, like housekeeping and front desk, to coordinate maintenance actions.
Complete scheduled waterpark pool tests and filter maintenance.
Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs as required.
Replace fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats.
Perform general groundskeeping, such as shovelling snow.
Perform maintenance work in compliance with established safety protocols and procedures.

Qualification:

Required: 1-2 years of previous building or apartment maintenance experience is essential.
Preferred: Technical training or vocational courses in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, or general maintenance.
Beneficial: Understanding of hospitality operations and a friendly, approachable demeanor when addressing problems or issues.
Strong attention to detail with proven work ethic.
Availability: Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
