Namerind Housing - Reaching Home Program has a full-time career opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing reception services; providing assistance/ information, responding or re-directing as appropriate and follow through.
- Greeting individuals; informing staff of appointment arrivals.
- Creating and editing correspondence, documents and reports; entering data/information into the database.
- Creating agendas for meetings, coordinating meeting arrangements, sending invites, assembling meeting materials; taking meeting notes and performing follow-up duties as necessary.
- Establishing and maintaining an efficient filing system.
- General office duties e.g., handling mail; arranging for courier services; photo-copying/faxing; maintaining/ordering office supplies.
- Assisting team members with other administrative duties as required.
The individual in this role will demonstrate professionalism and possess a sound work ethic. A customer-service orientation, sound interpersonal skills, teamwork, and demonstrated communication skills are required. The ability to multi-task and efficiently manage deadlines/priorities and perform detailed work accurately is also necessary. Additionally, the individual in this role must be skilled using MSOffice (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook), and have excellent keyboarding skills.
An office education certificate along with some related experience is preferred.
