As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addition and/or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs. Responsibilities include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counselling sessions with clients. This position will be expected to assess individual and group needs of clients, implement plans to help clients reach their goals, and provide preventative education and counselling services through community outreach, which will require travel. The incumbent reports to the Manager while working under the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

Mental Health & Addictions Counselling Diploma
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
