Description

The La Ronge Regional Housing Authority (LRRHA) is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team immediately.

Reporting to the Manager of LRRHA, this position is responsible to:
-manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance programs
-provide leadership and supervision to maintenance workers
-tender, oversee contracted work to ensure work is completed to standard
-develop, deliver an effective preventative maintenance program

To be Successful you will have:
-knowledge of basic techniques in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
-experience in estimating, materials purchasing, accounting and budget preparation
-experience leading a team, supervising, planning, and coordinating employees and work tasks
-ability to handle stress, while prioritizing workloads and respecting peoples diversity and individual differences
-excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Grade 12 education, familiarity with Microsoft Office, some post-secondary in business or technical/trade training plus 5 years' experience in a maintenance and repair environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
-ability to organize and participate in an on-call program for emergencies for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
-a valid driver's license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
-availability for air and overnight travel, as required
