Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Meat Clerk at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels
Properly prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow first in first out (FIFO)
Ensure to keep a clean and maintained department
Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You have your grade 12 or equivalent experience; retail meat clerk experience especially in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) would be considered an asset
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements  standing, and performing heavy lifting regularly; extensive physical labour is required
You must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures such as coolers or freezers
