Description

Saskatoon Student Child Care Services Inc. seeks educators to be part of a team that strives to offer quality care in an exciting and supportive work environment.

We are currently seeking an educator to fill a term full time position working one-on-one primarily with a preschool aged child. The successful educator will need to be experienced working with diverse abilities and in a physically demanding environment. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis is required.

Minimum requirements:

Clear and Current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector check

ECE Level III preferred/Minimum SK ECE Level I required

Current First Aid and CPR

Ability to work a shift within centre hours of 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent verbal skills

Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of differing cultural, racial, and socio-economic backgrounds,

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy

Patient, warm, energetic, flexible, sensitive and responsive

The ability to work with all age groups is an asset

Our educators will form positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues and will possess a genuine passion for working with young children and families.
