Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge of environmental management, GIS, mapping, permits, land status reports is an asset
Project management duties, writing proposals, budgets, collaborate, build relations internal and external
Bachelors degree in planning, Real Estate, Business Administration, Natural or Renewable Resource Management or Environmental Studies
Professional Lands Management Certification/designation
complemented by a combination of training and/or experience in the provision of
administrative services at the First Nations level. They should also possess certification in Kanawayihetaykan Askiy.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player to effectively interact with other departments and staff, elected officials, members, service providers and local government agencies and officials.
Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to conduct research.
Exceptional organization and time-management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Highly motivated and ability to work in demanding and fast paced work environment.
