Description

Are you passionate about doing meaningful work?   Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Manager, Operations & Maintenance, to join the Infrastructure team.
Reporting to the Director, Operations & Maintenance of the Southern Region, an employee in this job is responsible for providing technical expertise to clients and staff and to manage the Operations & Maintenance of WSAs Infrastructure, with a team of technologists, technicians, operators and other support staff who are responsible for inspecting, assessing, operating and maintaining WSAs infrastructure.
This position will provide leadership for Operations and Maintenance units and develop tactical plans for WSA infrastructure; develop and implement structure operations plans and communicate with stakeholders; Improve the understanding of the current condition, develop and implement inspection and monitoring, maintenance and rehabilitation of WSAs infrastructures.  




The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar technical discipline and certification with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T) or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar engineering discipline and license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) with 9 years of progressively more responsible directly related experience.
