Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, an employee in this job will provide hands-on information technology support for the WSAs Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Network. Work is undertaken in a team environment and involves undertaking computer operations and hardware installation and maintenance specifically related to applicable WSA and client LAN/WAN operating systems.
This position will be responsible for providing accelerated helpdesk support and working closely with users in responding to service requests and resolving problems is expected. This employee will be responsible for undertaking projects or assignments of varying complexity.
As the successful candidate you will undertake day to day hardware and software maintenance tasks related to the network, servers and workstations to ensure security and integrity of corporate data; and that all required resources are available for use in accordance with established corporate policies and procedures including installing, configuring, upgrading and/or repairing hardware and software on the LAN/WAN as required.
The successful candidate will have completed a minimum two-year post-secondary Computer Science or similar discipline program. The Senior Network Administrator position requires five years of related experience and applicants with the required education but varying levels of experience, are encouraged to apply. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Network Administrator position.
