Description

Full-Time (37.5hrs/week as best suits the program)

Reports to: Homeward Bound Manager

Responsibilities: The Homeward Bound Windsor Supervisor works closely with the Assistant General Manager and Client Services Coordinator overseeing the day to operations of Windsor. They support staff with implementation of client case loads and implementation of programming, procedures and staff roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Post - Secondary Education and/or experience in human services, supported housing, or vulnerable population;
Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture;
Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers license & reliable vehicle;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Computer skills;
Must pass Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Strong knowledge of trauma informed care, person centered planning and strength-based approaches;

Basic Duties:
Provide leadership and direction to staff members, in all areas, including confidentiality, positive work environment, conflict resolution;
Be a part of an on-call rotation for Homeward Bound Windsor;
Maintain written and computerized records, compile reports and complete other program documents;
Monitor spending to ensure accountability and appropriateness; Ensure spending policies and procedures are being followed, work within a provided budget;
Attend client meetings and other program meetings as requested per
Management;
Delegate and oversee day to day duties and responsibilities for staff members;
Oversight of medication management;
Uphold and maintain policies and procedures for all programs;
Responsible for staff and training, Ensure that staff members are competent in delivering services;
Ensure reporting requirements are complete including statistics, daily documentation;
Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management, to ensure the effective operation of the program;
