Regina Immigrant Women Centre is recruiting for a Program Manager for RIWCs employment related programs.
DUTIES
Oversee employment programs to meet funders contractual obligations
Hire and onboard the project team
Coordinate expectation meetings with all stakeholders
Develop communication and marketing strategy to engage employers and recruit participants
Liaise with program Instructors and job developers ensuring adequate participation and success in all phases of the project
Plan, develop, implement and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools in conjunction with agreed-upon deliverables
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Document project scope, goals and report all deliverables to funders via monthly or quarterly reports
Complete additional duties when the program is short staffed (leaves of absence, transitions etc.)
Prepare course outlines, to include course-specific lesson plans that meet instructional objectives focusing on business communication, interviewing skills, resume and cover letter writing, job searching and financial literacy
Revise curriculum outlines, syllabus, lesson plans, hand-outs, exercises and presentations
Provide course-specific instruction and skills trainings
Conduct follow-ups and evaluations for client progress
Ensure clients are job-ready for the labor market
Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
University Degree or equivalent, with at least 3-5 years experience as a Manager
Experienced in a similar role working with clients from varying populations including barriers that impact learning (i.e. racialized populations, immigrant populations)
Experienced in leading and managing cross-functional teams
Ability to negotiate priorities and objectives to align varying viewpoints and create a unified approach
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
