The Role
Cameco is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our process operations team at the worlds second largest high grade uranium deposit, located at the Cigar Lake operation in northern Saskatchewan. Reporting to the process supervisor, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of the process areas at Camecos Cigar Lake operation. Please note this is a six-month temporary position.
In this role, you will:
-Operate circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines
-Identify, document, and report any maintenance concerns to support continual improvement throughout the operation
-Assist senior operators as required
Required:
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-One to three years of mill operation work experience and industrial water treatment experience, preference given to those with uranium mill experience
-Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
-Work both on surface and underground
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Previous experience working in an industrial environment, or uranium mill
-Potable water treatment level 1 and wastewater treatment level 1 certified
Conditions of Employment:
