Description

Saskatchewan Therapy Services is a boutique private therapy practice looking for 1-3 highly skilled and experienced mental health professionals. We believe in exceptional client care and trauma informed treatment and are seeking like-minded individuals to join as independent contractors.

The current position available is for a Registered Psychologist or Masters of Social Work clinician who can provide service for in-person and virtual sessions. This position is part-time availability for approx. 5-10 sessions per week (including at least daytime shift consistently).

Saskatchewan Therapy Services pays out based on a percentage split of the independent contractor rate ranging from $85 - $92.50/hour per client session (depending on the client fee/format of  session/length of time with practice). Saskatchewan Therapy Services covers all client referrals, advertising and marketing, office space, administrative costs such as website, Jane Booking System, email, wifi, payment system, billing etc. As an independent contractor, you are not responsible for your own independent marketing unless you wish to build your caseload faster.

Requirements of the Applicant:
-Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology or Social Work.
-Minimum 5 years clinical work following obtaining Masters degree.
-Availability for approx. 5-10 sessions per week (including at least one weekday daytime).
-A strong understanding and practice of process-based therapy.
-Provide evidence-based individual, family and/or couples therapy. Those trained and
experienced in couples work specifically may be prioritized.
-Previous experience working with trauma-based therapy, and an understanding of attachment
and process-based methodologies.
-Knowledge of the DSM and psychiatric disorders.

Possible start date is approx. November 2024
