Description

We are looking for an experienced full-time Human Resources Specialist to oversee the human resources functions at our charitable organization. The HR Specialist will manage a variety of human resources programs including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and policy development, while also ensuring that the organization's values and mission are upheld in all employee-related matters. This role is essential for maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture and supporting the organization's charitable goals.

- Policy Development & Compliance
- Training & Development
- HR Data & Reporting

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Certified human resource professional designation in Saskatchewan

Experience:
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably within the non-profit sector

Skills & Competencies:
- Foundational knowledge of HR principles, practices, and applicable legislation.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks independently.
- Resourcefulness in handling new situations and problems.
- Mature judgement.
- Demonstrated experience working with charitable or non-profit organizations is an asset.
