Description

The Saskatchewan Indigenous Enterprise Foundation Inc. (SIEF) is one of the leading Aboriginal financial institutions in Canada.  SIEF Inc. has been providing lending services to First Nations in Saskatchewan since 1986 and currently serves more than 300 clients.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the financial institution focusing on supporting First Nations economic development.   Major areas of responsibility include: communicating and implementing the vision, mission and strategic direction of the corporation and also ensuring its long-term viability through competitive programs and services, and effective and efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

1)Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
2)Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
3)Preferably a post-secondary degree and previous work experience in the financial services industry, or a combination of education and work experience.
4)Knowledge of the financial services industry.
5)Competency in using MS Office and datatbase software.
6)Excellent communication skills in order to provide clear, complete and concise written and verbal reports and presentations.
7)Must hold a valid Class 5 drivers license and must be bondable.

The position is based in Saskatoon, with some travel required.  The successful candidate must provide a current criminal record check and undergo a credit check. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
