Reporting directly to the Executive Director the Jordans Principle Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of the Jordans Principle initiative and will work in collaboration with the PBCN communities and external agencies. The Jordans Principle Manager will be required to provide overall supervision to Jordans Principle staff, to assist and provide direction with coordination of services and to ensure that all program initiatives and services are in line with the programs overall goals and objectives.
General Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the effective and efficient day-to-day operations by providing guidance and direction to staff on case-related issues, best practices, assigning caseloads, and reviewing case files and assessments;
Develop program guidelines for all staff to follow to ensure consistency and fairness in the implementation of the program;
Keep abreast of any changes to the program and communicate them to the other workers;
Coordinate regular staff meetings and/or attend required meetings with the regional office;
Manage scheduling of staff, leave approvals, approval of timesheets and ensure staff caseloads are covered when absences arise;
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
Manage the programs financial resources by monitoring expenditures, tracking budgets and proposals, reviewing and approving purchase orders and cheque requisitions within the established amount, and working with PBCN Health Services; financial and administrative structures to ensure transparency and accountability;
Complete all reporting requirements for the program including monthly and annual reports to FNIHB;
Support data collection and analytical activities;
Prepare and submit proposals to the Jordans Principal Regional office for enhanced/increased services for the children including those that may be requested through the capital program.
