The Town is seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform the duties of a permanent, full-time, Special Projects Assistant within the corporate services department. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position will be responsible for completing functions that support the strategic priorities of the Town, such as: fundraising activities, event coordination, research, grant applications, reports and presentations, marketing and communication activities, the development of policies and procedures, filing, and assisting with reception duties.
The successful candidate must have: grade 12 education or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience performing office and administrative functions or event coordination; proficiency with computers; customer service experience, a high degree of initiative, and strong organizational and time management skills. A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 drivers license is considered an asset. Candidates with post secondary education in business, office administration, hospitality, communications, marketing or similar, are encouraged to apply.
