Provincial Airways is looking for a parts, service and technical records manager. There is a significant period of on-the-job training, and we are seeking a candidate to commit to the time required to learn the position. Once past the intensive learning curve, this is the ideal opportunity for someone who values job security and reasonable work hours. During winter we work a 4-10 hr work week Monday-Thursday. During the summer we work a more traditional 5-day work week. Provincial Airways is a family run business with a close family-like work culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
Cooperative team player and leader. Attention to safety and quality improvement.
October-May work hours are Mon-Thurs. 7:00- 5:30 and May-October work hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30 with overtime opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Canadian citizenship, landed immigrant, or valid Canadian work permit.
Proficient with technology, and standard office software.
Experience with parts and service would be an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order, ship, receive, and manage inventory of aircraft parts.
Manage the complex technical record keeping associated with aircraft maintenance, to comply with Transport Canada requirements.
Assist with customer service requests, schedule maintenance, and provide support to our Aircraft mechanics.
Assist in day-to-day maintenance of hangar and equipment and snow removal at the airport
Assist with company health and safety program.
