Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Professional Services - Marketing Specialist at our Administrative Office in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Community Relations, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Collaborate with Business Unit leaders and store leaders as a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing marketing plans, strategies and innovations for the Fuel, Agro, and Home & Building business units that will ensure continued growth in sales, service, and earnings.
Design marketing materials including video, print ads, email marketing, billboard, social media, and in-store Point of Purchase materials.
Assist with planning and executing community events.
Ensure all advertising material is on brand and delivered in a manner consistent with Lake Country Co-op branding strategy.
Provide market research insights supporting any suggestions of new marketing initiatives.
Actively engage with customers through YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging social media applications.
Follow all company policies and procedures and perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You have a post secondary education (Diploma) in marketing or equivalent. Previous Co-operative retailing System experience preferred.
You have 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience: however, we welcome all candidates with a combination of relevant experience and/or education.
You have direct experience with graphic design, web page, and other marketing related software tools including Canva, Adobe
