Description

Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Facilitator, Intro to Budgeting. This is a Part-Time, Term position (15 hours per week taking place on Mondays and Tuesdays) for the term of November 18, 2024 to April 11, 2025, in Cote First Nation, SK.

The Opportunity:
Under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator, Community and Employment Programs this position is primarily responsible for developing, coordinating, delivering and facilitating the classroom component of various programs. The program goal is to help build workforce skills within participants.

Requirements:
- Two-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Human or Social Services or Behavioral Sciences field or a journeyperson trade certificate. This education or training would provide general skills transferable to a multitude of workplaces and the ability to understand the workplace. This education would typically provide knowledge in group facilitation, adult education methodology, Essential Skills, and counseling skills.
- Two years demonstrated experience providing leaners with the skills required to provide career information, to effectively liaise with employers or funding agencies and to develop needs-based approaches to workshop development and delivery within Essential Skills programming.
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Experience working with people from equity groups in a cross-cultural setting
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
