Expectations:
Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders;
Coordinate and participate in case management and consultation;
Provide direct client access or referral to harm reduction services;
Plan and facilitate community harm reduction education and events;
Disseminate and promote education and resources on HIV, Hepatitis C and STIs;
Assist in preparation and maintenance of the program budget;
Attend meetings as required;
Prepare reports, statistical information;
Ensure that safe work practices are followed;
Maintain and model appropriate personal boundaries with others;
Respect and protect the rights of clients.
Qualifications and experience:
A Bachelor of Social Work Degree is required;
Experience working with the harm reduction model and knowledge of STBIIs;
Experience working with individuals experiencing chronic health and social issues;
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and vehicle in good working order;
A recent and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check from RCMP.
