Description

Job Description & Duties:
Reporting to the President and CEO and working in collaboration with the Centre?s internal team and contractors, the Strategic Projects Coordinator will be highly skilled and experienced in managing complex research and engagement projects with large budgets and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Strategic Projects Coordinator will support the design, development and delivery of programming and resources that result in enhanced First Nations? economic participation and decision-making in resource and energy development projects occurring within Saskatchewan

Key Responsibilities
Participate in strategic planning with the Centre?s Board and management team
Develop materials for a variety of events, meetings and conferences hosted by the Centre
Support and participating in marketing and communications strategies
Develop and maintain collaborative and high trust relationships with First Nations in Saskatchewan with whom the Centre is providing project development support or could potentially support

Leadership: Understands and communicates the Centre?s vision, mission and values; fosters and maintain positive relationships within the Centre internally and with all member First Nations and partners

Demonstrates and genuinely acts in accordance with knowledge and understanding of First Nations, their culture, history and traditions, including an awareness of the impact of generational trauma and the need for equity-seeking action
Integrity: Takes responsibility for actions and decisions, demonstrates honest and ethical behaviours in the delivery of services on behalf of the Centre
Requirement to Travel:
The candidate may be required to travel on a regular basis to semi-remote locations within the province and out of province as required
